There is always an effort to try and diminish the importance of SEO nowadays. People either because they don’t understand how it works or what it can or they just try to use “easy” ways and fill blogs with keywords and links trying to get some hits.

I have been reading for quite some time arguing about whether SEO is dead…will be dead…has already died..and i cant understand why they all want to kill it!

There are many people looking out on the net about nice articles that will explain SEO to them and how they can apply techniques to increase their rankings in search. There a bunch of more sites that say they have the tools to do that and ask thousands of pounds. You have to receive emails every day from them…. Matt cuts said once they even receive in google.

What I really like the most about SEO is all the graphs and the analytics. Looking at them and taking as much info as possible for the progress of our project. Google Analytics gives you a lot of info and graphs that you can analyze and hopefully learn a thing or two about your customers and the people that are visiting your site.

A colleague once told me that if you want to be a good seo guy you have to read a lot (ok tell me something I don’t know..) Always keep updated with what is happening in the Marketing and Search Engine Marketing world. You need to have a certain talent I guess and know really good the market you are targeting. A specific plan from start to finish…as all campaigns.
